"Today Emma woke me up with hugs and kisses and I am reminded of why I love being her mom and friend. I think all human beings are drawn to the idea of loving someone uninterruptedly and joyfully and that's why love plays such a key part in our lives. 

Loving our children, our spouses, our friends, our boyfriends and girlfriends... We need to love more than we need to be loved. Or that's how I see it.

I think loving has taught me lessons in this life I would have never imagined I could learn; the nurturing and building part of love is such a soul-satisfying endeavor that I cannot imagine ever being love-less even when (at the expense of sounding cheesy) love hurts at times."
